Not a member....

How many times does a fella have to ask to have his account deleted????

Sorry about this but it's the only way I'll get any reaction from the bums and stiffs who run this board...

This one's really bugging me because I'm sure I've seen another pic of this bass with the last 6 months. There is what looks like writing on the body just where the neck joins which is something that Washburn do, and the headstock is similar to a design they use.

On the other hand I keep thinking it might be a Yamaha - why?

headstock looks familiar, i thought it might be a vigier, there is also another company that have writing in that same position but i cant for the life of me think who it is right now.
off to do some google searches.

The BX-1 is why:

Those inlays are non-standard, of course. There was also a BX-5 (5-string). I wanted one when they came out. :)

Nothing on t'Bay at the mo, you could set up a watchdog. I can't help since I played the BX-5 in a shop in 1990... in Johannesburg. :)

If anyone's interested in one of these Riverheads - there is one on the Bay right now.

Although considering who's selling it - it's likely to stay there...

Correct-a-mungo! I would rather wait forever than to buy anything from those overpriced jugheads! Thanks for the head-up, though.

Here's the kind of customer service they leave for all negatives & neutrals on ebay: "WE RUN A TIGHT BIZ & RECEIVE 200E-MAILS A DAY-CANT ANSWER ALL RIGHT AWAY-THANKS!" -- Sounds like my kind of people -----NOT :)
