Quick heads up - there's a feature on Nile Rodgers on The Culture Show Edinburgh festival special,tonight on BBC2 at 10pm.

He has had a mad life to say the least! Amazing he's still here. The only annoying bit of the interview was when he played [i]Good times [/i]on his acoustic. The lack of baseline just grated on my nerves somehow ( I'm sure it sounded fine to all non bassists though )

His autobiography is a fascinating read. Can't recommend it enough. I hadn't realised quite how many his he'd produced! Unbelievable talent.
