Hi there Dave, especially after playing for over 20 years I know that basses are a very individual thing BUT after having a custom GB I can not see why you would let that go in favour of a MM Fender ??? I can only assume it is in favour of the love you gained for your 4 string MM Fender ? But wow ! Remortgage do something but don't let the GB go I reckon that will be one you regret

Hey Yardee!

I am crazy letting this bass go. It sounds awesome but I didn't really like dragging it round London all the time on the tubes and buses. The fender is a workhorse and I can guarantee that it's going to do every job I want it to. The producers I work with just know what a fender sounds like and that's what they usually have in mind so theyre immediately happy when I rock up to the studio with it. Personally I just dig the fender tone and its silly me having more than one 5 string at the moment. I need to pay for car insurance :)

My Dream Bass if it was a 4'er, In fact I'll be driving down to buy it off you if it was a 4'er. Good luck with your sale and its a great price too.

I'm very happy with my Spitfire 4 - I'm sure that some of you players of 5ers would be more than happy with this..and at this price!!! Unbelievable bargain...this should have sold ages ago..
