Tech 21 Landmark 300 head * ON HOLD*

As a result of my recent purchase of an ultra-lightweight Markbass R500 head (see my review elsewhere in the Forum), I am considering selling my Tech 21 Landmark 300 amp.

For those unfamiliar, this is a solid state head which basically comprises two Sansamps (ie, its got two separate channels) and a power amp wrapped into a single package. So you can get pretty much any tone you want out of it - valve-like (it has recommended settings in the handbook for sounding like an Ampeg SVT and a Fender Bassman for example), as much distortion as you want, or clean, bright and modern and switch between two different sounds (via footswitch or button on front controls). Its incredibly versatile.

Here's the manufacturer's link so you can check it out and hear some of the sounds (Sansamp users will know these already, its the same circuitry).

New (you can only get them imported from the continent now, as far as I am aware) its €900, c£700. When they were on sale in the UK, they were about £550-ish. I bought this amp from eBay last year in pristine condition for £350 and have put it in an Aguilar 2U black rack sleeve (which cost £120, protects it well and looks great - link for this http://www.aguilaramp.com/Merchant2/mercha...tegory_Code=HC). Basically, it looks like new still.

Decided to call it £350 including rack sleeve (one went in May on eBay without rack sleeve for £300). Not desperate to sell at any price as I have covered the cost of my Markbass amp via other recent sales and I would happily keep this as a back-up rig.

Cheers Clarky
