chrismuzz Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Foderas can be such ugly basses... But this is one of the most beautiful things I have EVER seen
loulou_2607 Posted September 12, 2012 Author Posted September 12, 2012 Thanks Chris, To my opinion, it's my most beautiful bass, but I prefer to play with my Imperial and I need cash, so I have to put it for sale.
malikosbass Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I tried one few months ago .. mmm, very smart bass..
carlis Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I believe Fodera doesn't offer a finish other than nature satin nowadays. Who've done the 2-tone burst re-finish?
loulou_2607 Posted September 13, 2012 Author Posted September 13, 2012 It's not a re-finish, it's an original finish by Fodera, but you're partially right, now Fodera doesn't do it for few years. On Talkbass, a topic talked about the fact that Fodera stopped to do it for few reasons, and the main reason was that a "not brilliant" finish is easier to preserve than a "brilliant" one for a professional bass player. Now it's not possible to have this kind of finish on a new Fodera bass. You can see some other "old" original Fodera on internet with a brilliant two-tone burst, but there are rare.
