A friend sent me a link to this clip earlier, I've just watched and enjoyed it. I've tried to post a link directly into this message but no luck sorry .

It basically talks about music being taught in a rigid way of learning exercises / and rules before we get to play. A comparison is drawn to the way we learn to speak where we are talking for a few years before we learn a basic alphabet.

It might be of interest to some of you. I always like to think about how we learn new things or how we can present information in a way that it can be accepted and retained. If there's a way to make it easier, then great!

It looks like he could do with a few lessons. if he keeps practising he might be get to be quite good. Also he needs to buy a better bass so that he doesn't keep need to tuning it whilst playing!

Good point he can't be that good. He can't even talk and play at the same time! Bet he doesn't sing and play bass !

Must be this one has fallen on the floor or something, coz these Daisy Rocks (I recognised the butterfly) are surprisingly good.

Beautiful video and nicely put.... However, now panicking about my nephew.... He can say the whole alphabet and he's not two yet.... Are we stunting his growth? he can also count to 99
