Jigster
This is a beautiful Mex made specimen with a gorgeous gloss finish and unique colouring. It has rolled finger board edges, no sharp frets, very sweet growly and punchy pick ups and a lovely maple figured neck. Very high quality build and in no way comparable with some early edition Mex Fenders you may have played or heard about. Has a chip on the pickguard from when I took it off - almost like a pressure release some paint popped out from under the screw Aside from the chip I can't see any marks on it, it's in amazing nick. I'm selling it for what I paid - they average around £550 ish new I can take more photos for those interested. Here is the spec from the Fender website: Fender’s classic yet seldom-seen Antigua finish returns for this special Jazz Bass model. The distinctively shaded body hue debuted in the late 1960s and was briefly revived with a more graduated greenish tint in 1977, when it first appeared on a Jazz Bass (on both body and pickguard). Antigua-finish Fender instruments have appeared only sporadically since the late 1970s and are rare finds now prized by discerning collectors worldwide. This new special-edition Antigua Jazz Bass is available only in limited quantities and is an authentic evocation of one of Fender’s most historically exclusive finish options. General Model Name: Antigua Jazz Bass® Series: Factory Special Run Color / Part #:

Antigua 014-0053-350
Body Body: Alder Body Shape: Jazz Bass® Body Finish:

0140053350 Polyester
Neck Number of Frets: 20 Fret Size: Medium Jumbo Fretboard Radius: 7.25" (18.41 cm) Fretboard: Maple Neck Material: Maple Neck Finish: Urethane Nut Width: 1.5" (38.1 mm) Scale Length: 34" (86.36 cm) Electronics Pickup Configuration: S/S Bridge Pickup: Standard Vintage Alnico Magnet Jazz Bass® Single-Coil Bridge Pickup Neck Pickup: Standard Vintage Alnico Magnet Jazz Bass® Single-Coil Neck Pickup Controls: Volume 1. cardinaljay
I must say, I'm so impressed with how these look. I haven't played one, but I bet it's a pleasure to play. At such a good price I wouldn't bet on this being here for too long at all - good luck with the sale.
