Charic, onwards and upwards, and it's good to hear there are no hard feelings etc. But really, did they want someone older or younger? And hadn't they known your age/seen you before they asked you to audition?

Nah, was his own words I was pretty much the same age as most of the band but experience wins out. In all probably they were probably a better player than me too

Funny I often have the opposite experiance nowadays when looking for a band, at the wrong end of 40 I'm normally thought of as too old! lol

Bugger, I felt sure you were going to get that.

But onwards and upwards as everyone else has said. It's good that there are no hard feelings. You never know how things will work out with the guy they've taken on. So keep in touch with them and one day they might be knocking at your door.

Funnily enough there's someone who's trying to set up an evanescence tribute locally(ish). Quite interested, if the singers any good I'd be quite interested in joining then possibly leaning to originals a bit later

the singer will be all important in that act lol, if shes any good go for it. playing bass in an evanescance band is easy
