Thornybank Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 (edited) dognofski gets it, subject to, etc. Workspace clearance turns up a playable, portably dinky, cheap enuff Hohner Jack. Good for a first fretless, project bass, travel piece, practice room loaner, owt other excuse.... Roughish, yes. Playish, yes +. Cheap, yes. Solid utilitarian value @ £112 delivered. Photos perhaps over-highlight the flaws.... Tech report: Now I've cleaned it, it's come up surprisingly nice. Fully working. V/V/activeT&B, active bypass switch. Pliers-and-filler de-fret, not pretty but plays fine. Worst bit is over the body, the rest of the board is much better. Nasty scratch in the top done by clumsy bridge clamp tightening - not quite as bad in reality as the flash makes it look. No battery cover but the battery is nice and tight and has no tendency to fall out. The other 'battery' is the preamp level control trimmer housing. Edited September 1, 2012 by Thornybank
