Kayo
Hi ya guys! I want to get me a bass guitar to practice. Where in London are the second hand music shops that can help me with that or someone here is willing to sell one? I'm lookng for the cheaper ones. Any offers or suggestions for me, please? Cheers! Musky
I'm assuming you're looking for something very cheap here. Besides Crack Converters, which can throw up the odd bargain, you'll be hard pushed to do better than the marketplace forums on here or the more obvious ebay/gumtree. Ebay has been the death of most of the junk shops and house clearance places that used to have the occasional bass, and music shops' secondhand stock is always more expensive than buying privately. Unless you want to trawl around car boot sales on a regular basis a wanted ad on here is probably your best bet. What kind of money are you looking to spend? Conan
Nothing to add to what Musky said! But a guide budget would be useful. I've bought basses on here for less than £100.
TheGreek
Know the difference between a "cheap" bass and a "bargain"....there are plenty of "cheap" basses in Crap converters, very few bargains..here there are many "bargains", very few "cheap" basses..
