Buzzy
I'm thinking about buying a Squire P bass anyone got opinions on choosing between the Classic Vibe or the Affinity series. (I'm thinking of Oly White if somebodys thinking about selling one)
dave_bass5
Probably worth using the search function as there are loads of threads about the Squires. For what its worth i love my CV's and cant see me needing to replace them at any time in the near future. I wish the CV came in the same finish as the Affinity, i hate the CVP colours. LemonCello
Go for the Classic Vibe every time. Great build quality and playability. Play lots and pick the best one! LC
Gareth Hughes
I love my Matt Freeman Signature P-Bass - think it's a quality instrument in every regard. If you do search you'll find plenty of info - but for Squier tho, not Squire
dave_bass5
Bugger, can't believe I spelt it wrong after all this time. The Matt Freeman would be my choice if buying again. Love the maple necks.

Lozz196
IMO all Squiers are good basses. I`ve had Affinity, Standard, and CV, and all have been good. The CV was the better bass of them all, and is priced accordingly, but you get a hellova lot of instrument for (not much of) your money with the CVs. Buzzy
Thanks for the replies, I have bought a MIJ Squier P (in Oly White) from Basschatter outsider70 on here last night.
jacmksoncaddy
I bought a Squier Matt Freeman last week, quick set up and a pick up change to a Basslines Quarter Pounder and its absolutely killer. Sounds and plays as well as a bass over twice its price. A lot of it probably depends on the amp as well I expect...
Jimryan
Don't forget the VM's. Got mine and changed the pup for a quarter pounder, then added a basslines MM bucket. I now prefer it to my American deluxe jazz. And it's a trendy oly white one too
