Skezza Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) I have a 1997 Fender Big Apple stratocaster. The big apple strat come from a range of upmarket guitars that included the Roadhouse strat (3 texas specials) the Lonestar strat (2 texas specials and a seymour duncan humbucker) and the big apple (two seymour duncan humbuckers a pearly gates and a 59). As the range was higher than a standard strat and this cost about £1200 the price of a vintage reissue it came with a C and G case like the custom shop guitars and better woods pickups finishes etc. Lots of birds eye on the neck. This guitar is absolutely mint has just had a set up and new strings ready to sell the action is very low in fact lower than I like but great if you are a shredder. The five way switch gives you strat and humbucking sounds: 1 Bridge Humbucker 2 2 single coils out of phase 3 2 humbuckers 4 Neck single coil 5 neck humbucker would trade for the right guitar (such as a telecaster but others considered) or valve amp but this was 1200 quid new so I would be looking for something of similar value or straight sale this is much better than a standard strat. AND IS MINT MINT MINT For cash £600 it is for sale elsewhere at £700 REDUCED TO £500 FOR CASH TAKE IT AWAY IT WILL GO NO LOWER AS I HAVE BEEN OFFERED £500 TRADE IN AGAINST A TELECASTER OR WILL SWAP FOR USA TELECASTER OR JAP TELE PLUS CASH OR TOP ACOUSTIC http://s639.photobuc...0Apple%20strat/ here are the rest of the pictures skez Edited December 30, 2012 by Skezza
