charic Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I don't know what to think... part of me likes it, another part thinks "why?!"... I am honestly stuck! Quote
Fat Rich Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 'Orrible! Gives relicing a bad name. Or rather, a worse name than it's already got (I mean reliciing isn't even a real word ) Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 LOL I tweeted about this (as BC) this morning, asking for opinions. It must have shocked everyone into silence, as nobody has yet replied Quote

TRBboy Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 It's not even places where the paint would wear off!? Gross. Quote
yorick Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Other than that, it looks like one of the new Rock basses.......... Quote
charic Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 Looks like it doesn't have a tone control actually... weird Quote
KiOgon Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Did you find it in a skip? It should have been Quote
Cosmo Valdemar Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Is that another Rob Trujillo sig? Quote
cocco Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I like it too. Would be even better corvette shaped and with two P pickups (preferably Di Marzio) though. Quote

xilddx Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 f***ing vile, but there are plenty of people who will like it. Quote
And the neck and fingerboard look like they've just come out of the factory. I like the way they've half arsedly rounded the top of the EMGs off, but not where you'd wear them out if you'd played them. Edited September 4, 2012 by Fat Rich Quote

bartelby Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) That bridge looks just like the one I took a dremel to. Edited September 4, 2012 by bartelby Quote
Low End Bee Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) <Martin Clunes using sad voice> Poor Greeny here is afraid to go on stage in the daylight. His manufacturers left him tied up to a tree in the garden exposed to the cold and rain. Small boys pelted rocks and stones at him for target practice. Donating just £2.50 per month can help us cure the many sufferers of bass mange at a decent refinishers. We never put a working bass down.... Edited September 4, 2012 by Low End Bee Quote
Mornats Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 All credit to Warwick for having a go at some vastly different finishes though. Some of them are stunning and some are, er, see above! Quote
Truckstop Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I wish I could see it in the flesh. I reckon it'd look awesome! Truckstop Quote
Lfalex v1.1 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 That's only okay. Some of the "rusted" ones look good because it's obvious that the finish is intentional, and not an attempt a [s]relicing[/s] [s]re-licking[/s] [s]re-liking[/s]..... artificial ageing. Winner? The "Copper" Stingray (5?) that EBMM did. That was nice, whilst still being different. Quote
Steve G Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Saw that on the add at the bottom this morning. I think it looks great! but then my motors tend to look like that too. I even followed the link to the website, saw the rusty ones etc, all very cool. Then I saw the prices not cool... Quote
