SlapbassSteve
PEOPLE BUY THESE THINGS SECOND HAND? I went through phase of buying a new set of Roto Swing bass every three weeks and binning the old ones... the money I could have made! V4lve
I like them dead sounding. Had some Slinkys on mine for since last December and they are just beginning to sound good. Paid 15 quid for them. Tried some roto flats before but they had too much tension. Now wondering if there is a better way. Used strings... the boy
I love the new strings sound when I'm playing but when I hear someone else playing with that deep flat sound that I really strive to achieve they always have old strings on. Weird.
Shonks
some idiot paid £8 for them with the postage. a crappy set of Chinese strings for a fiver would achieve the same effect! if you like dead strings dont go and buy 'em on ebay for gawd sake. Kill a set yourself (we wont tell) or I'm sure a BCer would donate some (in the name of science) Edited September 6, 2012 by Shonks
