sulkyjimbass
had two woolly mammoths that have both fallen apart on me now ... what the hell is going on? can anyone suggest something more robust (i thought they were supposed to be pretty tough) that works with an active bass and actually sounds half decent ?! Mr. Foxen
What part is breaking? There is nothing in a Woolly Mammoth that can't be fixed fairly easily.
Bassnut62
generally speaking WMs don't like active signals; so that might be part of the problem.....
RockfordStone
the best bass distortion ive ever used is an ibanez pd7 phat hed, had mine nearly 10 years and works nicely on passive and active basses
topo morto
woolly mammoths, as 'hand painted' zvex pedals, should have a lifetime guarantee.... you'd save on the post sending two back at a time! many effects pedals are no more robust than any other electronic gear. They should take a good stomp to the footswitches - apart from that, it pays to be careful with them.
