Al Heeley Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 (edited) I regret having to offer this lovely bass back up to the community. Purchased from another fine Basschat member a couple of years ago this 2002 EBMM piezo has to be sold to release some cash due to my current redundancy position. The bass is in excellent condition, set up for a fast, low action. Great solid, stable neck has meant I've been able to set her up with as low action as I've ever been able to on any bass. She is a 3-band eq with piezo blend which is marvellous for feeding in a little top end zing into the sound. If you like a percussive edge to your sound then this bass ticks the boxes. Solid, warm, punchy, very versatile for a wide range of music styles and a lovely neck to play on. All the pots except volume are centre-notched. Chromework in top condition. She's really comfortable to play, comes with locking strap buttons and a hipshot drop-D tuner plus original hard case, all in pristine condition. Price £725 collected from Huddersfield area. I will ship further afield after enquiring about best p[ostal rates if interested, please drop me a pm. Features Hipshot drop-D tuner Small blister in the finish by the pickguard screw above the final fret Detail of headstock - a couple of small dings and scratches. Complete with original hard case, in excellent condition. Edited September 10, 2012 by Al Heeley
Icunningham Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Been staring and drooling over this since you posted it, trying to figure out how to raise the funds
Al Heeley Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 Do you have any relatives you can sell? It's really lovely
casapete Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Oh no, another Musicman I want............aargh...........
Al Heeley Posted September 7, 2012 Author Posted September 7, 2012 Thx Josh - I'll get a freight rate cost sorted and let u know.
Thor Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Sorry to hear your news Al. Bump for a top bloke, buy with confidence folks!
Enzo Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Is that black or very dark green? Would you ship in US?
Al Heeley Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 its sparkly black (or very dark grey). The paint has tiny flecks of mica in it that reflect light. I would consider shipping to US, I'll have to find out where to get a freight quote. However, knowing how pricing works here compared to the US, we typically pay nearly same in GPB as US guys in $$'s, I would think that by the time shipping to US is added on, plus any duties and clearance, it would work out a lot cheaper to source one in the US.
Icunningham Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Shame there isn't a trade option and your not after a jazz bass. Sorry to hear about your situation
Al Heeley Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 Thx IC, my Geddy Lee Jazz has become the main gigging bass for me now so I have to let the lovely MM go to free up some badly needed cash.
Al Heeley Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 Now sold - thx for the interest.
