Definitely not to my tastes though.
zero9
Headstock looks a bit 'cheesy' for my taste.

Muzz
10lbs? That'd be me out, if I wasn't already thanks to the shape. Not for me - I'd be chucking Mark the money for the Mike Lull TBird, and trousering the £99 difference...
thisnameistaken
I would give him another £800 and ask him to finish the headstock.
Roland Rock
I like the body shape, but the straight lines on the headstock don't compliment it at all, IMO

[/quote] I think the look of this thing is what people refer to as an acquired taste, as is the somewhat polite tone of these basses. Looking at your gear list, I think what you already have will actually sound better. Most importantly though, I hope no actual whales were harmed in the manufacture of this bass. BassTractor
PhotoShoppers, you know what to do with this pic plus a pic of a beer bottle. Me no like. I love design and modern design, but do not love most custom bass designs. They mostly seem plain amateuristic and awkwardly weird. Come to think of it, so do most basses. The Bongo, however ... Lurv it. best, bert

deefer_dog
I don't like it!! Just personal preference I suppose. As was said, I too find custom basses awkward looking. Extra wood seems to shout 'I'm considerably more expensive, than you' ( I bet you read that in Harry Enfields voice ) Then again, I'm not a fan of Ric's either. EssentialTension
I'm sure that must be a very well-crafted bass guitar but it holds absolutely no attraction for me.

Musicman20
Come to think of it, even if I had a really high level of disposable income, I wouldn't spend £2799 on a bass/guitar. I'd buy one nice one at around £1600-1800 and get a nice Tag watch or blow it on a holiday.

thebrig
Sorry Shizznit, but that is one ugly bass! But it's a good job we all have different tastes, although it does seem that you are on your own on this one.
Doddy
I saw this the other day. I think it's a really nice looking bass, and I think Damian Erskine has got a really nice tone.So all in all.....I like it
