RockfordStone
hey guys, ive been playing around with my sound, buying various pedals, trying different effects over the years. i have currently narrowed it down to essential clean, and distortion/overdrive. i am looking to bring a touch of reverb into my sound, not massive echo or anything, but just a touch ive tried using my zoom b2.1 to achieve this, but i didnt get on with it as the unit seems to force a tone on you which i don't like. so now im looking for a reverb/delay pedal in order to get sound. does anyone have any advice on what pedals would be worth a look, i don't want to spend a massive amount on something as its not going to be the main focus of my sound, but something robust and decent sounding would be great
Marsy
Hey man, I use an Iron Ether - Nimbus and love it, think you could too..
voxpop
I really like the mkii version of the trex room mate. The reverb is very sweet and there is a setting that has a good chorus sound mixed in.
RichF
i suspect given what you say about price you aint in the Iron Ether market nor the £150 Source Audio market, but I am interested in this (and the IE Nimbus). chrismuzz
Zoom B3 is a vast improvement on the B2
simwells
I'm a fan of the TC Hall Of Fame personally, one of the most flexible but small reverb pedals out there. Sounds great too!
lxxwj
I don't use a reverb personally, but I've tried a number (and heard a number) on bass and I'd say the EHX Holy Grail is probably the best for just a little bit of reverb to liven things up. dudewheresmybass
I've used the Marshall reflector to great effect. Costs around £80 new and 30-40 s/h A great solution at a reasonable cost
