Bass Chord Melodies

Just got on the youtube bandwagon recently as an outlet for my solo bass musings, at the moment its a mix up of ol jazz standards, themes from film and tv and (currently) one original. I'm pretty new to the whole bass video malarky so any advice/feedback is greatly appreciated.

One thing i'm struggling with is getting decent levels and quality from different speakers, what sounds fine on my home speakers sounds crazy distorted on my friends macbook so if any veterans know any tips let me know!
