Mudpup
Just took delivery of a pair of GK 212MBE cabs from Thomann. Amazing service - ordered Tues night and delivered today. Seem like a bargain at £205 each and sound great after a quietish pootle this afternoon. Try them out in anger next Friday and Saturday though. Heres a piccy

OzMike
That is a great price- less than half the price of GK's 'other' Neo 2x12", and also lighter - 15.4kg vs 23kg. I can only assume, then, the wood in the 212MBE is a little thinner and lighter. I'm a big fan of 12" speakers, and look forward to a full 'gig' report. Lozz196
Yes, think the wood is thinner, and they don`t put the wadding/padding/bracing/whatever it`s called in them, so the sound can be a bit different, but so far haven`t read anything bad about the MBE range, from anyone who`s bought them. And yes, they look great.
Mudpup
Trouble is, they obscure the telly. Might have to move them for X Factor
