The wire in my bass which goes to the jack has come loose. May be a stupid question but how do I reattach it? Its a Squier VM Jazz but that shouldn't really matter. Its really just a matter of how do I reattach it (I can see where it has broken off from).

Thanks

I'll see if I can pick up a cheap mini soldering iron and give it a bash. So damn annoying, was grooving to some Prince - Let's Work then.... silence

Maplins on dalry rd will give you a soldering iron and a pack of solder for about £10. Look up youtube videos on how to solder before you start messing about with it though.

If you haven't sorted it out yet, and you can bring yourself tomorrow (Wednesday 19th) to the Comely Bank area of town, before 12.30pm, I can fix it for you in 5min.
