Recommend a Multi Stand

Having .....erm............... 12 of the little buggers all sitting on individual stands in the spare room may look very bautique but they take up alot of room so Ive been pondering a couple of Multi racks. They consist of 10 electric and 2 acoustic Basses so Im thinking 2 x 7 slot racks. The acoustics taking up 2 spaces.

Now these racks wont be going anywere. Purely for domestic storage. I dont fancy the case style. Id rather have the frame type. Ive found the Chord and Warick Rockstand racks so the question is which one would you recommend that can take acoustic and electric basses thats not too expencive but will last and protect my babies in a small footprint? Also theres the DIY option? A few lengths of piping, some pipe insulation and some screws should do the job? Im guessing its probably not cost effective?

cheers in advance :)

Have a look at this one it's £20 cheaper than the Warwick ones

I know you've said you'd prefer a frame type, but just in case you do look at the Stagg fold-up suitcase one, I've had the 6-guitar version for almost ten years now and it's been to absolutely tons of gigs, bounced from practice rooms to lock ups to vans to home countless times and is still as solid as the day I bought it. Defo got my moneys worth for the £45 it cost me.

The one from gear4music is a Chord. It says so on the side of it, on the intructions and on the bag so it must be true :)

Its a good stand. Solid and practical. I like it :D
