SOLD - John East J-Retro Pre Amp

John East J-Retro Pre Amp for sale. This is the solderless version which you can just drop into the control cavity of your Jazz Bass and then attach to the pickups via the screw connection. It's a fantastic pre amp, which I've had fitted in my spare Jazz for about 9 months. When I first bought it, the treble pot gave a very slight electronic crackle when adjusted (which now and again it still does). I didn't bother to inform John East about it because, other than that, it works perfectly.

If you're talking about a Musicman pickup fitted to a Jazz bass, then I assume so? Do you have a pre amp fitted already? To be sure I would email John East directly from his website [url="http://www.east-uk.com/"]http://www.east-uk.com/[/url]

Well to be honest the guitar doesn't actually exist, just planning a jazz 5 string build, so not even sure what pickups i want yet. And do intend to put in a preamp and I've always liked the J retro. Will drop them a message.

First buyer backed out so I put it back up for sale and gave it a bump tonight. Then somebody bagged it 5 mins later and it's now sold. Sorry for the confusion.
