SOLD

Like I said in my other post, I've shifted from bass to guitar now *zips up flamesuit* :D so dont hurt me!
So I'm selling pretty much all of my bass gear to fund my guitar gear that I now need to upgrade.

Below is my K5, I'm looking for £200 for it. Comes with a bass bag, straplocks, and strap.
I've tried various straplocks, and these are the best ones for me.
No Trades!

It does have some wear and tear, I've tried to be as honest as possible in all the pictures (in link below). It still sounds as great as it did out of the box. You can dial in various tones, including Fieldy's if you so desire.
For the serious player, I'd advise on a new setup as I had this setup for A tuning, but it is not a requirement, just a suggestion.

LOTS more pics here! : http://s28.photobuck...dd/Ibanez%20K5/
If you want to see the spec its here : http://www.ibanez.co...uitars/model-K5

COLLECTION ONLY - I live in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. (I work with couriers, it doesnt come with a hardcase so I wont send via courier cuz I know what they are like!)

Very cool!

Used to have one years ago and loved it. Don't be put off by the Korn connotations. It's a great bass in it's own right! Excellent Ibanez build quality, flexible pre and a nice slim (but not too much) neck.

Definately agree with you there, its a lovely plank! Shame I don't have cash at the moment, got a serious case of GAS!!

Would love one of these one day when I can spare the cash as testament to my teenage years haha. When I was 14 these were all the rage! everyone wanted a 5-string and it HAD to be the K5 or similar...silly right? But hey, that's what it was.

Have this bumpage in hopes that there are still people from that era around. :-)

I was one of those kids man haha although its probably bad to admit it since alotta people look down on him on bass forums, I was a Fieldy nut in my early bass days.
It's still a great bass though, definatly got me through my younger years competing with seven string guitarists for loud wars in the prac room lol

What's the difference between this and the current K5 apart from, obviously, colour/finish?

Weight and they sound a bit different I believe.

If it wasnt for me already owning one of these I would have bought this one by now. Even travelling to Wolverhampton in a few weeks.

Well I'm a frequent visitor to Wolvs' Civic so this is equally as tempting...
