thisnameistaken Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Just spotted these dates and thought I'd give a quick heads up if anyone's interested: http://www.ticketmas...s/artist/869242 I last saw them fifteen years ago and they were great fun live, quite stoked they're doing another tour. Huge Hands Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I love the bass player Robert Sledge. Would love to see these guys, but think funds will dissapoint me. Quote
Doddy Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Nice...I might have to go to at least one of those gigs (probably Rock City) if I'm about. Great band Quote
TheRev Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 AAAHHHH! I have a gig on the same night as the Bristol date. Arse. Quote
yorks5stringer Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I felt quite short-changed when I saw them years ago, what happened to the two other members....? Quote

thisnameistaken Posted September 21, 2012 Author Posted September 21, 2012 Ordered it on CD but hasn't arrived yet. :/ Quote
thisnameistaken Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 Anyone else seen them? Went to the Leeds gig on Saturday, the band sounded great, Robert Sledge has really raised his game too he was playing upright (pizz and arco) and synth bass as well as singing harmony and doing 'guitar solos' of course, the guy is just awesome. The album is up and down but the high points are really nice, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7E_mIgD_6w Quote
Owen Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I saw them in Manc and thought they were exceptional. A monster songwriting talent with a rhythm section which serves the song, keeps it interesting but never gets in the way. Quote
