Dolando
Hello, Jazz neck for sale. Its a 20 fret neck Maple with roswood fingerboard. it seems a solid neck and should be fine for any project. Its also had aged fret dots installed. Heel is un-drilled. I was originally unsure if the truss rod works properly but have managed to check it and it seems to adjust fine and will easily be able to be adjusted to be straight when strung up. 62-63mm at Heel 37-37.5mm at nut Price: £27 including postage I'm looking to use this to fund another neck I have my eye on so I'm open to offers if you think this is too much. Would also consider trading for other Jazz bass parts, 4 string or 5 string. Thanks for looking, Adam Edited October 20, 2012 by Dolando

barkin
If I've understood correctly, the truss rod has too much tension (against the pull of the strings) and would need to be loosened - not tightened. If it's been (unnecessarily) tightened to its max. that'd explain the bend, surely, or have I misunderstood? Dolando
You maybe right? So our saying that if loosened it would bend backwards more if needed? It should pull straight once stringed up.
