pineweasel
I'm in the market for a nice left handed Jazz. I like the traditional Jazz sound and don't want an active instrument. I've tried, and been impressed by the 2012 Fender American Standard, but lefty options are limited to sunburst or black with a rosewood board. Having seen the high praise for Sandberg both here and elsewhere I reckon the California TT Passive might be a good alternative - two extra frets, superb fit and finish and, crucially, a wide choice of options and finishes at no extra cost to lefties. But, apart from a couple of YouTube videos, I've got no idea how they sound compared to the Fender. I can't find any to look at around London. Is anyone familiar with both and able to give an idea of how they compare soundwise?
xilddx
The Sandbergers will be along soon and you'll get LOADS of advice I was after one last year and I got loads of help here. I found the ones I tried were a bit of a handful, but the necks were nice and slim, like a Jazz. I ended up with my first love, a Warwick Streamer.
