smithjsr Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Hi All I have reviewed most of the post on this site re Ibanez SR500 and SR 600 including a comparasion of these models. The only difference is the SR500 has a Mahogany body whereas the SR600 has an Ash body. Can anyone explain to me why there is a marked cost difference in the UK for these basses please? Today's GAK price is SR500 = £449, SR600 = £509 If anything I would have expected the Mahogany body of the SR500 to have the higher price tag. Cheers Jason Quote
Mick Kahn't Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I just bought an SR500 new from Germany for £408... No idea why the price gap from 500-600 though. There must be summat lurkin' in the spec surely ... Quote
ead Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 There's the black hardware too on the SR600. If you don't mind ex demo there's an SR600 from Thomann for just under £400 here...
