Maverick
I'd imagine there are a million and one interesting and creative things you could do with that set-up. Unfortunately, I can't really imagine that that bassline is one of the finer examples.

I would die to bring that bass to the Kit show. My imagination is running riot now. I imagine so many sounds I can't achieve on a 'normal' bass rig, but until this wonderful evolution I couldn't see how it was possible without a keyboard synth. That bass is pretty much perfectly designed for what I feel I need.

risingson
I can only really applaud Muse for trying something new like this. It's at the least interesting. The bass is totally mad!
Highfox
I'd love to try it, thought it sounded interesting, can't imagine wanting to use it for a full set tho. You can't beat the fun you can have on the old type four stringer imo.
BigRedX
The top half is a Misa Kitara. And what's with the second guitarist lurking in the back ground? If you're going to use extra musicians put them where they can be seen otherwise everyone will assume you are using backing tracks.
Come on, you can get a plank of wood from B&Q with 4 elastic bands pulled tightly on it to sound like a precision. Be hard pushed to tell the difference. These used to be exclusively at the high end of the market - take a look at the price of the V3 - but companies like Misa Digital are forcing them to bring out more realistically priced models. mcgraham
Is that what Muse sound like these days? That song and sound was like U2 and Queen shoved in a blender. I'd happily listen to the sound, but it's a shame to hear a band that had an original sound years ago 'evolve' into something we've already got. Far quicker and reliable to get the sound(s) you want and far more accurate when it comes to playing.
