dannybuoy Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 (edited) Just spotted this yesterday, think I might have to get one: http://www.fenderjap...o.jp/ajb-v.html One thing that has annoyed me about Fender 5 strings is the 47mm nut width - this one is 42mm just like my Yamaha BB415. I've been looking for a nice black 5 string jazz with a narrower nut for ages and this fits the bill! Now to go about sourcing one - there's one on eBay (http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_5970wt_1037), or there's alway Ishibashi... any other suppliers I should look into? AndyTravis Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Fender would sell loads of these if they brought them into the UK. I've converted about 6 of the four stringers to BEAD tuning in the last year or so... But still, they want to sell mexi/us 5ers too I suppose... Quote
Sean Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 The fingerboard is treated with creosote and the bound body cuts into the right underside of the forearm. Play before you buy, folks. Quote

Might be my inabities showing through but just beware. Quote
Grassie Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I would imagine that B string will be quite floppy too... Quote
jaydentaku Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Additionally. How much? Its over a grand. The one I played in Sounds Live was £750 Quote
