dannybuoy
Just spotted this yesterday, think I might have to get one: http://www.fenderjap...o.jp/ajb-v.html One thing that has annoyed me about Fender 5 strings is the 47mm nut width - this one is 42mm just like my Yamaha BB415. I've been looking for a nice black 5 string jazz with a narrower nut for ages and this fits the bill! Now to go about sourcing one - there's one on eBay (http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_5970wt_1037), or there's alway Ishibashi... any other suppliers I should look into? AndyTravis
Fender would sell loads of these if they brought them into the UK. I've converted about 6 of the four stringers to BEAD tuning in the last year or so... But still, they want to sell mexi/us 5ers too I suppose... Sean
The fingerboard is treated with creosote and the bound body cuts into the right underside of the forearm. Play before you buy, folks.

Plus they seem to have a very quiet e string on the 4 and require safe breaker dexterity to get an even volume and tone

Might be my inabities showing through but just beware.
