Ashwood1985
Hi guys, My guitarist needs to do a couple trade etc and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of uk based forums for guitar for him that are as community based and reliable as BC! I suspect a lot of the guitar forums out there are strewn with many members who are not on a progressive vibe with regard to helping each other out. Cheers in advance

mike257
[sub]There's a lot of guitars change hands on BC over in the 'For Sale - Other Musically Related Items' forum, why not suggest he posts them in there. Plenty of members here who moonlight on the skinny strings![/sub]

uncle psychosis
The musicradar forum is good and whilst there is not *quite* the same community spirit that there is over here on the whole people there are nice (and trustworthy). The Hamer Fan Club forum & Gretsch Discussion Pages (to name just two) are full of fantastic people who are incredibly knowledgable & will go out of their way to help people out in any way they can. deanoet
I have always used http://www.guitars.co.uk/forum/ That one They seem friendly enough, but I havent tried to sell / exchange anything through it
Ashwood1985
Sorry, but that's just bollocks.
Wow! Ok first of all I said 'a lot of guitar forums' not all. Indeed there are also bass forums with the same problem: ie talkbass. So please back off with the (rather ironic) offensive posting. Secondly thank you for the suggestions of forums. Ash
Angel
+1 to Music Radar. Mind you, the classifieds are so well used that you drop off the front page very fast!
leftybassman392
Any further updates on the arrival of the new forums Charic? I seem to remember there's been some problems with your web designer....
