9 volt batteries, where to get good value.

I've come to the end of my battery stash and need some Duracells or equivalent 9 volt batteries to put in my basses and pedals. Where do you buy yours?
I've looked on ebay but I'm non the wiser. I tried those Duracell Pro Cell and they were rubbish, lasted no where near as long as the copper tops.
I need about 20.
Any ideas? :)

Or you go the rechargeable route.

I had a case of batteries only lasting a monthor less in my bass, then I discovered that there was a short in the circuit which meant the active circuit was on even when a jack wasn't plugged in.

Now the Procells I get last for months and months.

These are cheap and delivered super quick too - god bless Babz!

That's true, I had an active Yamaha with the same problem, about a month and the battery would be dead, regardless of how much it was played. I'd check that out.

Apparently there was a similar problem with some Rockbass Corvettes, a faulty 2006 batch, as mentioned on the Warwick forum. When I read it years later I panicked (I've got one), only to realise that I was playing my 2007 Corvette, still fitted with its own theoretically long-expired battery, in 2009!

Edit for wrong dates, mixup as I've got two Corvettes. I panicked for the 2007 one, even if it was a year younger than the faulty ones, 'cos I'm a panicky bass owner :D
Hi there, I put the Procell in last year into the Stingray, as I say, I lasted about a month. Put a standard copper top in after it and it's still going strong 10 months later.

I'll second that emotion - Babz are fantastic; so much so that I'll always use them, even if other sellers are a little cheaper (which isn't very often) because they're so fast and reliable.
