The bass is in good condition for a 35 year old bass was sold to me as a re-spray [s]but a collector friend of mine and a bass Luther both think it is original finish!! [/s]However that been said it will be priced accordingly at £1500 cash trade is £1650 Comes with a rockcase (by Warwick) flight case and has Dunlop strap locks fitted. Bass weighs 4.63kg (10.2lb) and has an instant Lewis Johnson slap sound!! Dingus Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Could I be pedantic ( but hopefully helpful) and point out regarding the weight that 4.3 kg is 9.29 lb, rather than 10.29lb as stated in the ad. Maybe you could clarify which is actually the correct weight.

binkybongo Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 - spoke to my mate Phil today about the refin. Phil commissioned it and was beautifully done - as confirmed by our top luthier friend - by Mr. Gordon Whitham, of Gordon Smith guitars. Better than the original MM paint jobs of the era IMHO.

[/quote] thanks will take cash just to let people know I will be out of the UK from December till February so bass will be on hold during that period if not sold before
