Hi I'm selling my re-finish 77 MusicMan Stingray which I bought off BC Richardd about 3 years ago. The bass is in good condition for a 35 year old bass was sold to me as a re-spray [s]but a collector friend of mine and a bass Luther both think it is original finish!! [/s]However that been said it will be priced accordingly at £1500 cash trade is £1650 Comes with a rockcase (by Warwick) flight case and has Dunlop strap locks fitted. Bass weighs 4.63kg (10.2lb) and has an instant Lewis Johnson slap sound!! Any questions let me know James

Could I be pedantic ( but hopefully helpful) and point out regarding the weight that 4.3 kg is 9.29 lb, rather than 10.29lb as stated in the ad. Maybe you could clarify which is actually the correct weight.

Wow just beautiful, I remember the first time I saw a stingray played by someone live, it was the same finish as this , I want badly

- this was mine, I always regret moving it on. Top class pre Ernie Ball instrument. Rarer than a rare thing bump/

Small world thanks Bill

- spoke to my mate Phil today about the refin.
Phil commissioned it and was beautifully done - as confirmed by our top luthier friend - by Mr. Gordon Whitham, of Gordon Smith guitars.

Better than the original MM paint jobs of the era IMHO.
