JensWest
What do you mean by "Just a failure contact at the jack instrument enter but works fine like this"? Is there a new input jack, but it's in the wrong size or something? The thing sticking out...
Norwood
No sorry, excuse me for my explication. In fact you have to change the input jack, the bass works fine like this but It's better to change it. It's not difficult to repare it. Schnozzalee
It's an unusual headstock and mine had wooden tuning pegs - when I put mine up after first joining everyone started talking about something called the 'Lowden-era'. I'd ask EBS Freak, he knows all about the Goodfellow stuff. I traded my musicman 4 string for one o these, ironically .
Norwood
Between 1992 and 1996 because difficult to read the serial number it's 00165 or 00185.
Muzz
I've a friend who has a similar one (a 4-string which used to be mine), and that's a Lowden-era one. There are folks on here who are more expert than me who can give a more definitive answer, but it's a lovely bass nonetheless.
Norwood
Yes this one has been made in lowden era.

EBS_freak
Just to confirm - Lowden era. Bernie was out of the Goodfellow operation before the 5 string went to market (and Bernie was never happy with the design that they took to market). A great bit of history to own though - you rarely see a 5 string come to market - especially in this condition.
