Me And My Bass Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 (edited) Bought this on here few months back & it really is a fantastic bass . . . but l cant see past my Stingray. 2004 model In your face blue sparkle colour, think Flea used the same colour on his early Fleabass. The sound great, really cuts through the mix & the neck is prob one of the fastest most comfortable l have ever played. Its loaded with the Aguilar preamp and Bassline PU (lane poor copy). Comes with Modulus hard case. It went through to our very own Mark for a setup/restring in some new Elixer 45's last month. I'm not deperate to sell this bass if the truth be told, happy to keep it from a collectors point of view. But its a shame it isnt being used by someone full time. Looking for SOLD Edited October 18, 2012 by Me And My Bass

Norwood Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Are you ready to ship to France? It's a ding on the head?
Me And My Bass Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 Would ship abroad no problem, but shipping would be extra. Pop me a pm with your address and I will get you a quote. Yes here is a paint chip to the headstock as seen in the first picture, the bass has been giged. Thanks

Beedster Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012
+1 not that it really makes much difference but thats an fb4. andy
Which is, to my mind, a far more desirable instrument anyway My early 2000's FB4 was definitely one of the best basses I've owned and (story of my life), I kinda wish I'd kept it. I don't think I've ever picked up an easier to play instrument, and the tone was outstanding. My 2008 FB4 (manufactured just before they became the 'Funk Unlimited') was nothing like as good. I've no idea if this is a common experience, but a couple of guys I know who've owned more than one FB4 seem to rate the earlier models. I short, I'd agree with Andy and advertise this as what it is, a Modulus Flea Bass. Good luck either way, I'd love to own another, outstanding instruments C
Guest Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) Hey! Any chance you could post a close-up picture of the headstock inc. the ding? Thanks! Edit: Quite interesting and I'm only nearby in Fife too! Edited September 30, 2012 by Richardflea
Me And My Bass Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 On hold pending usual . . . thanks for all the interest guys.
Me And My Bass Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 This is still for sale guys! The sale fell through with the guy in Glasgow and I haven't had a minute to relist it since. Had about 7 pm's of interest, mostly from overseas forum users. Most asking if I would ship it overseas which I am happy to do at the buyers expense. Pop me a pm if you are interested. Chris
