davidlovellbass
I'm looking for a wiring harness to fit in whats trying to be a rickenbacker 4001. Rickysounds are wanting to charge £90ish for a harness without jacks or £165! for one with. Any ideas where i could get one without removing a limb to pay for it. Beedster
I might be splitting my old Faker which has all genuine Ric parts including VTC pot and stereo out. Yes, they are expensive when bought new and will probably not be as cheap as you'd like when bought used either, sorry . Either way I'll keep you posted! lots of other genuine Ric parts might be up for sale also (RI Horseshoe, TRC, pickguard, etc). tommorichards
Are you after genuine, or one that has the same functions?
davidlovellbass
The bass i have is also a faker so genuine parts would be nice but if non genuine parts sound better or have the same quality for less then they'll be the ones i'll go for. Beedster i've been keeping a keen eye on your faker, sadly i don't have £450, if i did then it wouldn't be until the end of the month but the parts i'd be more than interested in
Stacker
Rickysounds are a rip-off! Look for a seller called 'Sound-me-out' on evilbay. He often sells RIC stuff.
MrFingers
Make it yourself, can be done for maybe 30£. You need 2 250K logaritmic pots (volume) , 2 500K lineair pots (tone), 3 capacitors (2x 0.047µF, 1x 0.0047µF), a switchkraft 3way switch (angled) a stereo- and a mono jack. Oh, and some wires.
