machinehead Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Not sure if this is the right forum for this but......... I spotted a Barefaced cab on Sarah Beenies programme "Double your House for Half the Money" just now. I wonder is the owner a Basschatter as well as a TV star? 'Fess up if it's you. Frank. Quote

steve-soar Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Wife is watching this, well has it on in the background whilst juggling ipad, iphone, Crackberry and laptop. Quote

geoffbassist Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I thought the same. Genz Benz head and Barefaced cab+ unusual looking bass = time spent on basschat :-) Quote

aldude Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Just spotted it on C4+1. Looks like a Compact, with silver cloth! Quote

guyl Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Should have spotted that - perhaps was too busy looking at Beenies chest. (although she has toned down the "tight-tops-on-a-cold-day" look that boosted viewing numbers for Property Ladder!) Quote

Mr. Foxen Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Not many silver face compacts about, with the rest of the gear, I reckon we can figure who it is. Quote
Wooks79 Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I've got a silver face compact, but its not me! Quote
Noisyjon Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I have vintage look Compacts but it isn't me either... Quote
yorks5stringer Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 He lives in Surrey from what I remember, lost his job during the programme but then got another. House is worth £900k now.... Quote
thumperbob 2002 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I too spotted that and thought of Basschat. Who is the illusive bass player? Quote

[/quote] I used to arrange product 'placement' in TV programmes many years ago. It was always fun to see products i'd placed in the corner shop in Corrie and the bar in Emmerdale. Also placed various Nintendos in a string of other programmes and used to sit there counting the amount of screen time we'd achieved, lol. Quote
Graham Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I don't think it would've been product placement in this case as they only sell to the commercial market and it had been stripped of any badges or anything, I only recognised it because of it's pop-up door. Quote
molan Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Product placement went all legit about 18 months ago - it was much more fun when things were slipped in surreptitiously Quote
