bengovier182 Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Just thought id mention i have this exact bass, and its flippin epic!
basslondon Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 Cheers for that its just that i have other basees incoming and eight basses is well, erm BEYOND ACCEPTABLE.to any normal person apparently ( how many can you play at once etc) I politely don't refer to the 25 + pairs of shoes that (lets call her imelda) CLOGS UP THE BLOODY CLOSET WITH. But thats another story, And its not like we cant afford it. Oh no, some of those shoes in there cost way more than a bass. For example: http://eu.christianlouboutin.com/uk_en/homepage/louis-pik-pik-specchio-laminato-1.html Yup,there are two pairs of those.... in different colours admittedly. But i rest my case.... Good job the internet only interests "imelda" for BaceFook and shopping. Other wise i'd be dead.
thisnameistaken Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 The 1100s is my favourite BB bass. Back in the early '90s they were selling for about 200 quid so this is a real bargain.
I didint know either.i was gob smacked. All i know is £925 for pointy trainers has got to warrant a trip to the shrink, but to do it twice..? Thats the sort of thinking that cuases "too many Basses " syndrome apparently. And i have a dim view of such nonsense and give it the shortest of shrift.
Lozz196 Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012
The 1100s is my favourite BB bass. A real workhorse bass, great playability and tone - must have done 500+ gigs with it, without backup, never let me down. This is a great deal - someone buy this before severe nostalgia kicks in!
neepheid Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 These are great, I've always fancied one. Unfortunately, I'm about to finish putting back together a BB450 so this would make for 4 BBs in the house, a little excessive, I think even my very tolerant wife would ask why I bought "4 of the same bass" then watch her eyes glaze over as I explain the difference between passive, active, P and reverse P, PJ, fretless etc...
sbrag Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Can't believe this hasn't sold for that price. I have same bass but in black. You won't get a more versatile bass with as nice a neck for at least double or treble the money.
basslondon Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 I think photo 5 is putting a few people off but it would be dishonest of me to exclude it...
Bobby K Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 That damage is easily sorted out too. People are missing out on an absolute classic here! I'd have it if i didn't already have one (albeit a refin lol) Classic bass bump!
