Jellyfish
http://www.myspace.com/rylinnband Just the single teaser, as we never really got any further than that. We were a power metal influenced band and, as you can hear, the track is unfinished. And I was the keyboard player.
yepmop
From my band in the late 70's to early 80's. We wrote all our own material and played in different genres which was probably our downfall. This the only recording that now exists, sorry for the not so good quality as it's a copy of a copy........ steve-soar
Hi, I've Uploaded it onto a Soundcloud that i use, for want of a better word, for solo stuff. The track is called Broken Wing. Also the band was called Crank, not Dreaded Ted and The Nutters. Here is the link (hope it works) http://soundcloud.co...ted/broken-wing
Neurotic pop, dub, art metal, stadium. Phew! Lord Sausage
Neurotic pop, dub, art metal, stadium. Phew!
Thanks, I loved that band. We always tried to mix it up musically. I didn't play any instruments for 2 yrs after we broke up, i was that depressed. We were on the verge of doing something as well. We had Mr Manchester Tony Wilson, behind us, this demo was recorded with the guy who remastered someThe Who's back catalogue. We had started to support some proper acts. The classic Rock n roll f*** up. It was 5 yrs til i started playing bass again. Pathetic really but i was in my mid 20's and v immature. LiamPodmore
The only other band i've been in and it's beyond atrocious. I think i'd been playing for 6 months at the time, if that. All recorded on a webcam mic in the practice room at school, and i think i was using my Ibanez and a Trace Elliot Boxer 60 that hated active basses. Clarky
My first band in phase 2 of my musical life, when I returned to playing bass and gigging at 42. Death metal band Nyx, a far cry from All The Queens Ravens! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uI3OsjAAIc
dmccombe7
One of mine from the mid 80's at the Heathery Bar in Wishaw. This was one of the largest "pub" venues in UK at one time holding 300+. Great place and had many great nights there. Toured UK and recorded with this band Gypsies Kiss. Had an absolute ball with them. Just remembered i toured with a broken leg too. Great cause i had roadies to do all the work in them days. Plug & play - LOL !!!
