Tilting Effects Pedals

I'm probably being dumb... again

I bought this flightcase:



and considered putting steps in so that I don't accidentally knock pedals.

But I want to make the most of the space I have really so I considered tilting the whole board forward

However I infact gain a whole 0.5cm doing this... yay...

Then I started wondering what if I layer then pedals a little differently...

I havn't done the math on the last method yet but I feel like I must be missing something obvious here....

Won't each shelf cover up the foot switches on the one behind?

The issue with them tilted like that would be pressing the footswitches easily, if you can fit it do the stepped but wth the top as a shelf that covers connections etc. of the pedals underneath that will probably give the most space.

Hmmm... done some technical calculations (cut out pieces of paper everywhere

And it doesn't seem to benefit me much by tilting because of the limited height.

Steps seem to be the way forward. I thought I was onto something there
