Warwick Corvette Standard Issue

Hi guys,

I have a Warwick Corvette Standard from 2004 I believe, and it's busted. Upon inspecting the electronics compartment it appears that the chip that connects to the battery connection as well as through to the stacked EQ pot has broken...please see image (just to the left of the input connection)

Please please please could somebody with knowledge point me in the right direction for a fix for this? If you need more info let me know.

Much appreciated!

Ouch. If you look on the Warwick website you'll find a wiring diagram for your bass, which should tell you the part number of that stacked knob with PCB. The Warwick shop will then probably have it for sale, but it is likely to cost an arm and a leg. Thomann may have it for slightly cheaper. But it's a specialist part, so you don't have much option, except by replacing the whole preamp.

The pcb fragment has nothing to do with the battery clip, it has broken off from the other half of a pcb and it looks like the one on the right in your photo. Should be an easy job to repair if you're any good with a soldering iron. Just glue the board back together and bridge the tracks. If you're not, then I'm sure that there is someone you know or a luthier could fix it. If you end up not being able to get it fixed, if you could get the broken bits to me, I could make you a new pcb.
