Mzungu71 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I miss my old one. These are great basses and a good price too
badboy1984 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 i miss my 2 corvette as well, one was like that and the other one was z 5 string.
Ashwood1985 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) Is that a wenge neck?? This is robbery if you ask me: way too much bass or the moolah! Re it won't be here much longer if anyone with a spare few tonne has any sense Edited October 9, 2012 by Ashwood1985
Dolando Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 If this was a 5 string I'd have your hand off. Have a 98 in ash! I love it, want one in 5. Such a bargain!
Ashwood1985 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Just noticed its a proline: still looks like a cracker Good luck with the sale mate
loki Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 It's a proper German one, not one o' they rock bass things...
Ashwood1985 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I see. I thought the 'pro lines' were Korean made? Or was that after a certain date? Any Warwick experts??
Ashwood1985 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 PS sorry of I'm turnin your sales thread to a Q&A lol At least there's bumpage as a positive byproduct
simon1964 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited)
I see. I thought the 'pro lines' were Korean made? Or was that after a certain date? Any Warwick experts??
The "pro series" is Korean made. "Proline" is a designation Warwick have put on certain models for a lot of years, including German models Edit - and this is a great price for a German made Warwick! Ruck Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Apart from Rockbasses and the recent made in Korean Corvettes. I never heard of Warwick producing anything outside Germany with the exception of the Dolphin Pro II. I used to have a 1997 Corvette Standard, Bubinga/wenge, you'll never have a problem cutting though the mix with this bass. Wonderful mid range. I actually prefer the look of the "flatter" horns on this Proline to my Standard
loki Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 This is DEFINITELY a German made Proline, not a korean Pro Series. 1995 was a great year for Warwick and the Wenge neck on this bass is to die for.
Ashwood1985 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I seeee Awesome bass for peanuts! Someone should grab it and let it get barkin it's ballsy tones man!
AndThenSome1 Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 If I hadn't just picked up a Fortress Masterman i'd be all over this! Gorgeous looking bass at a ridiculously low price...
loki Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 Shipping confirmed at £18 for UK mainland.
