Hi,
i bought this killer Roscoe bass from Mark at Bassdirect last week.

It's a beautifull Roscoe century standard 4 in Onyx black with maple fretboard.
I absolutely love this bass and i am now a convinced Roscoe player (don't want to play anything else anymore),
the only thing is that i bought it on a bit of a whim as i was actually looking for a 5 string but this bass looked and played so good
that i bought right away allthough it is a 4 string.

Don't get me wrong , i'm not in a rush to get rid of this bass because allthough it's a four string it's the best four string i've ever played and i'm having lots of fun with it (played it all day, all night this weekend and just couldn't put it down, that's how inspiring this instrument is!).

I love everything about this bass, i only regret the fact that i didn't get a 5 string instead of a 4 (the 4 string was the only Roscoe Mark had available within my budget at the time), so i don't want to sell or trade for anything else than a fretted Roscoe century/LG or SKB standard 5 string (will also consider a 6 string).

I know this is a long shot as there aren't that many Roscoe's going around here on the forum,
but i thought i might just give it a try as there might be someone in the exact opposite situation who's looking for a trade as well.

I'm not in a rush as i'm having loads of fun with the 4string, just would like to replace this with a 5 or 6 string Roscoe when the opportunity presents itself.

NO CASH OFFERS PLEASE, THIS BASS IS NOT FOR SALE!
AND I WILL ONLY TRADE WITH ANOTHER ROSCOE, I'M NOT INTRESTED IN ANY OTHER TRADE OFFERS!

I can ad a little cash (about 200£ max. and/or maybe some FX-pedals) depending on the options/value of the 5/6 string,
but would prefer a straight trade with another Roscoe standard in the same condition.

Retail price of this CS 4 (bassdirect) was : 1699£
Bass comes equipped with a brand new set of Elixir 45-105 strings and the Roscoe guitars TKL heavily padded gigbag (best gigbag ever!) + original packaging and i believe Mark from Bassdirect still offers waranty on this even after it's traded.
(i'm not sure about that though, will have to check)

If you have a Roscoe standard 5 or 6 and would fancy a trade with my CS4 , just send me a PM and we will work something out. ;)

Now for some picture's (bass is still in the same exact condition as how i bought it a week ago):

Peace&Groovez!

Nevermind the above,
i've decided to go for a different string gauge (and brand, because i don't really like the new Elixirs on my Roscoe) and experiment with an octave pedal to get those really low notes when i need them. :gas:

Played it all day today playing Faith no more, Black sabbath, deep purple covers and some modern slap & fusion styles and this bass really shines in any style i can throw at it, so i can no longer bring myselfto letting it go, so i'm going for the octave down solution or i even might string it BEAD one day.
