A mate picked up a Zoom B1 with a power supply 2 weeks ago from Rock Stop on Charing Cross Road for only £25 - considerably cheaper than any of the online prices I'd seen.

It does pay to walk into a shop sometimes. :)
Ordered a b2.1u yesterday, turning up today. This wait is killing me! It'll turn up at 3.45pm when I'm leaving for work! Bloody typical!
Cool .. Tip number one is read the manual :)
No, really, read it first. Just go off to a cafe or somewhere and read it through from cover to cover before having a go...

Sorry, I know this may affect your standing in the lads' community, rugby squad and down the pub ... oh and people will expect you to ask for directions and maybe even multitask at some point but it's worth it to avoid hair pulling and initial dissapointment

There's a few threads on settings and stuff on here so a search is worthwhile too ;)

Cheers mate. I actually downloaded a .pdf of the manual from Zoom's site, so I've read it through, and I'm not unfamiliar with Zoom pedals anyway.

Stupid couriers couldn't get my address right so now it's turning up today, when I'm working 9-5. Gah! ;)

I suffer from having the depot miles away so I've agreed with a retired neighbour that they will take in parcels etc.

To allow the PO and parcel people to do this my address (on anything that may not go through the letter box) now contains the line "If no answer please try number 65" That makes it "official" aparrently...

It works well and catches nearly all the parcels that would otherwise go back to the depot. The delivery people like it too 'cos it's less hassle than taking it back.
haha maybe he likes to go for the lower harmonic of the E and boosts that for the fundemental frequency ;< "its no good if it doesn't make people physically ill"
if only i could find a pedal to make people physically ill, that would be awesome :)

Got it yesterday and had a quick play when I got home. I love it! Excellent pedal. Using it as a USB audio interface, all through headphones. It's great. I'll start fiddling soon enough to get a couple of "main" sounds. Should be fun! :)
