Gwilym Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 played this bass at the gallery a few weeks ago. killer bass, shame it's a 6er, otherwise I'd be in trouble. Nicest MTD wood combo I've tried so far. Mike Tobias told me that Black Limba is very similar to Mahogany (and Makore), so a really nice low mid growl, and a good high mid bite from the mable f/b. If I ever custom order, i'm 99% sure it'd be this or very similar woods. Cheers Harry, GLWTS
