Sofamusic Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I have a very fine bass player in my band Music from the Sofa called Keith but sadly, being good at bass playing he is not always available when he does lucrative gigs. Therefore I need a dep. bass player who can sight-read a set of bass parts from our originals pad (25 songs) and play covers, usually from chord charts. We are striving to get gigs now, demo nearly finished, and need someone able to cover some rehearsals and gigs. The band rehearses in Seaford and we are looking for gigs in Brighton and East Sussex and London. The style is jazz/folk. There are some Steely Dan influences.
