seb Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 (edited) Hello, i posted this on the warwick forum as well, but it might be easier to put it here, because the bass is in Uk , sooooo im selling my lovely bass, mostly because i got a placement in Sweden and i ll be there for one year, so i need to buy something new and cheap I bought this bass 4 years ago, i ve got it from a romanian fellow who bought it from the german ebay. I had a couple of warwick s untill now but this impressed me the most, very versatile and crunchy id say. The price that im asking for is 1200 GBP and it would be much easier to be picked up, but of course we can always arrange something The bass has a problem which is not actually a problem, on the back of the neck between frets 1 and 4 it is visible a small scratch\crack which i can guarantee doesn t affect the playability and it s not a truss rod problem( i ve adjusted it many times) i know this could "scare" some buyers but i can guarantee there is no problem, unfortunately i ve got no pictures now to show you what i mean, im doing my best to upload them asap. The bass is situated in Coventry,UK at my girlfriend so it d be even better if the buyer is british, also i am opened to any trades around scandinavia. I know it is annoying that i dont have any pictures by now, but i can upload an old video with me playing the bass through a very small amp (15w) Thank you Sebastian Videos (you ll need good headphones ) : and Edited January 21, 2013 by seb

bigthumb Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Beautiful! How I'd love another old SS1. Very special basses.
Bassulike66 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 It might help your sale if you show a couple of detailed pics of the crack/scratch!
Kev Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Any story with the absent original brass nut and truss rod cover? Lovely looking bass.
seb Posted October 24, 2012 Author Posted October 24, 2012 The brass nut was taken off just before i left because i made some adjustments,so it will come with the bass ,no problem, and for the scratch/crack there s no story behind, most probably it was dropped long time ago
seb Posted October 31, 2012 Author Posted October 31, 2012 If you download the picture and zoom in the highlighted area you ll understand what i mean
seb Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 going down to 950 and negotiable, come on guys, it s just a scratch !!
seb Posted November 16, 2012 Author Posted November 16, 2012 come on .there must be someone who wants a bass older than i am !
Kev Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012
The brass nut was taken off just before i left because i made some adjustments,so it will come with the bass ,no problem, and for the scratch/crack there s no story behind, most probably it was dropped long time ago
So the brass nut, rather than the plastic black nut, will be included with the sale? As well as the absent truss rod cover???
seb Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 im confused now, but yes i have the original brass nut and the original streamer cover which the buyer will receive
MarkusWarwick Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Is the black plastic firmly glued on jus now??
