Is this stand any good?

Just seen this on ebay, I am looking to get a stand for my double bass as at the moment it is resting on its side.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this stand? It is gona be purely for home use, possibly gigging in the near future once I consider myself confident with the stick!

I had a good look at that as I also need a stand, but I opted for the more expensive and hopefully much better Hercules stand, after receiving reviews and good advice from this forum!

I would also reccoment the Hercules stands.
They are very solid.

Ive got a similar one, does the job. Only really annoying thing is, you have to push the end pin back in when you want to put it on the stand. For some reason it bothers me.
