xgsjx
What's the difference? Isn't the T115 the same but with a different name?
Pow_22
I thought the T115 was exactly the same but just renamed for Thomann?
voxpop
I would buy a second hand ABM EVO combo. The ABM range will sound so much better than the budget Ashdown ranges. I sold mine for £250. Best to pick up a good condition second hand bargain.
jezzaboy
I didn`t think that the T115 was available anymore? It was a special run made for Thomann and I think xgsjx was correct, it was a re badged Mag 300. Voxpop has come up with a good suggestion, a S/H ABM. I own a British made MAG 300, one time combo now just the head and I prefer it to the TC bh500 I had. The Mag is their biggest seller. On a related note, just read an interview with Bruce Foxton who said that whilst he uses Marshall`s on stage, he uses a Electric Blue Ashdown combo for rehersing and recording and loves it to bits. debwilliams
I have the T15 combo and love it. It arrived with the MAG 300 label still attached . The only reason I didn't buy a second hand amp was that I was kitting myself out with my bass and amp etc and didn't want to spend a reasonable amount of money and have no guarantee if the item was faulty. There was nothing left for repairs or amp replacement if it all went wrong! Happy shopping!
isteen
Thanks for the info. I got my eye on two MAGs. A 1x15" and a 2x10". What's your thoughts on these two? Again. Thanks for all comments and inputs
isteen
Ahem...i have a small bonus question! Is there something called a Mag 300 (without the EVO-name)? I have two amps that I'm looking on s/h, one is for sure a EVO II, the other one is "possibly" an EVO. If this is the casem should I avoid the non-EVO amp? Hope someone could clarify this for a non-Ashdown user
xgsjx
Do you mean a 1x15 combo &a 2x10 cab or is it 2 combos your looking at? If combos, then whatever you like the sound of. If combo & cab, I'd go for either 2 1x15s or 2 2x10s. Edited October 13, 2012 by xgsjx
