grumble
Jeez this place sounds more an more like a woodwork class every day Flammenwerfer at 20 places shifts most finishes in my experience, and tends to improve most Fenders ( 0 to roadworn in 15 secs) Don't try this at home kiddies

Angel
[sup]I had a squier strat body and the finish was rock hard. Red nitromors failed. I took a blowtorch to it and that failed too! It bubbled up furiously into a very thick sticky gunk that still refused to scrape off! It was like a mega-thick treacle. Gave up in the end and body is buried somewhere in the garage.[/sup] [sup]Did a fender strat body once and the blowtorch was brilliant. it was all just pinging off as I scraped. Whole body done in no time at all and the burns looked so cool that I left it like that[/sup]
